The candidate is responsible for evaluating bid specifications and drawings. The candidate is responsible for accurate /efficient takeoffs, job cost development, and bid tracking. Experience using Sage software is a plus!

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Review and estimate costs on prospect jobs.

Breakdown construction documents, addendum & bulletins

Clear communication with both clients and internal staff

Shows creativity and resourcefulness to gain competitive pricing from vendors & subcontractors.

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and On-Screen Takeoff Software

QUALIFICATIONS

1-3 years minimum experience required in a similar industry or position

Encourage growth & maintain positive relationships with clients

Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast paced environment

Strong work ethic
