Project Engineer

Due to our continued growth, Xquisite Landscaping is a hiring a Project Engineer to join our team. Candidate will be responsible for working closely with the Xquisite team of Project Managers, General Contractors, Architects, Superintendents, and Foreman to successfully and profitably complete projects.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Review project specifications, drawing, and documents

  • Prepare submittal packages and follow-up on approval within a timely manner

  • Prepare purchase orders and assist with material procurement

  • Scheduling of project material deliveries

  • Update Project Files and Field Use Programs

  • Review Bulletins, SKLs and Other Project Document Changes and Assist in Change Order Creation

  • Prepare RFI/RFC for submission to General Contractor

  • Prepare closeout documents for projects

  • Practice integrity, reliability, and honesty in all business transactions

  • Project a positive company image

  • Work with co-workers as a Team to ensure success

  • Maintain budgets and adjust according to needs as they arise

  • Track performance and analyze the completion of key goals

  • Identifies and solves problems

  • Capable of working independently

  • Ability to multitask

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong time management and analytical skills

  • Ability to use specialized software for collaboration and time management, including spreadsheets

  • Ability to read and understand architectural drawings, specifications and other contract documents

  • Experience with inventory control and process improvement

  • High accuracy in work and attention to detail

  • Ability to demonstrate strong communication skills

  • Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment

  • Competent in MS Office with knowledge or familiarity with CAD, BIM or REVIT

EDUCATION/ REQUIREMENTS

Associates or B.S. Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or equivalent years of direct experience
